Common weather descriptions include 'ร้อน' (hot), 'เย็น' (cool), 'หนาว' (cold), 'ฝนตก' (raining), 'มีแดด' (sunny), etc. 'ฝนตก' (fǒn tòk) means 'it's raining' where 'ฝน' is rain and 'ตก' means 'to fall'. Thailand has three main seasons: hot season (ฤดูร้อน) from March to May, rainy season (ฤดูฝน) from June to October, and cool season (ฤดูหนาว) from November to February.
